Purchase a weighbridge
Weighing and Measuring Solutions Ltd (WMS) can supply a weighbridge to meet your needs. The weighbridges are available in 3m increments starting at a 6-metre weighbridge right up to a 24 m split weighbridge, we can cater for your requirements. We will also determine the type of weighing equipment to meet your industry needs. Whether it be in a quarry, forestry or general freight we will ensure the equipment installed will meet the robustness of your industry.
Along with purchasing your weighbridge we have an experienced team of technicians who can also install your weighbridge.
Lease a weighbridge
If your weighbridge requirements are for a set period, WMS(NZ) can also offer a leasing option to meet your needs. In several circumstances leasing a weighbridge is a good economical solution to satisfy your weighing needs.
This option is available through our relocatable weighbridge option or our stand-alone above ground 12m weighbridge. Both these options require a flat surface, with straight approaches for access and a close power supply. Weighbridge software can also be included in the leasing option.
Weighbridges ae available to lease in 3m sections starting at 6m in length. Although weighbridges can be installed inground and above ground the leasing model is targeted at the above ground option, mainly to keep the cost of foundations to a manageable cost. SHORT TERM LEASE (1 to 12 months)
The Short-term operating lease option is available through our relocatable weighbridges. These weighbridges require a level area, power supply, a covered area for electronics and can be set up in a matter of hours. Some examples of a short-term lease would be for weighing crops that are being harvested, weighing metal from a river or in the situation where your own weighbridge has broken down.
We can provide a certified weighbridge option or non-certified option, what suits your needs. We define short term leasing as a period of 1 to 12 months. Weighbridge certification and servicing is inclusive in this option. Weighbridge software can also be provided as part of the leasing package.
LONG TERM LEASE (12 months plus)
The long-term operating lease option is available also through the relocatable weighbridge but also by installing a permanent weighbridge. As an indicator a long-term lease is for a period of greater than 12 months.
Once again depending on your requirements we can tailor a solution for you. Weighbridge certification and servicing is also included in this option. Weighbridge software can also be provided as part of the leasing package.
Lease to Buy Option
WMS(NZ) provide a weighbridge Lease to buy option. This agreement enables a customer to make monthly instalments and at the end of the term they own the weighbridge. Weighbridge software is also available with the lease to buy option.
FAQS
What terrain is required for installation of an above ground weighbridge?
The are where the weighbridge is to be installed should ideally be flat and preference is for the ground to be sealed. The approaches need to flat with an approach and exit of approximately 10 metres. This will depend on whether trucks and trailers or just trucks are being weighed. A single phase power supply should be close by.
What value does the weighbridge software provide?
The WIS weighbridge enables the availably of live data, hourly/daily/weekly/monthly electronic reporting, and an easy system for weighbridge users to operate the weighbridge.
The emailing of individual weighbridge dockets, texting weights to drivers and printed weighbridge dockets for the driver are also a feature of the software.
All weighbridge data information is back up to the Azure cloud servers.
